The name comes from professional theatre, where bauprobe refers to an early spatial test before full construction. Here, it defines both a method and a production logic: developing work through experiment, prototyping, and exact spatial thinking rather than overproduction.
Bauprobe operates as production without overproduction, combining ready-made elements, unconventional solutions, and applied knowledge of scenography, technical systems, materials, and real site conditions. Its work aims to support and activate space without overloading it.
„Bauprobe“ veikia pagal principą produkcija be perprodukcijos, jungdama ready-made elementus, nestandartinius sprendimus ir taikomąsias scenografijos, techninių sistemų, medžiagų bei realių darbo sąlygų žinias.
She is an MA graduate of the Norwegian Theatre Academy, where she developed an artistic research approach rooted in embodied perception. Her background also includes studies in Interior and Environmental Design at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Moscow, a BA in Scenography from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and further training through programs at the Meyerhold Centre and the Moscow Art Theatre School.
In 2025, she completed a year long internship at Studio Tosatti in Naples and contributed to Paradiso, a large scale site specific project presented during Milan Art Week and Milan Design Week 2025. Her portfolio spans theatre scenography, installations, and public space interventions across European cities, alongside independent performative and audiovisual works.
Her current research unfolds within the universe of de:manifestation, a continuing inquiry into how meaning appears and dissolves through staged conditions of attention. Using calibrated relations between sound, light, timing, and minimal material cues, she composes scenographic encounters built on thresholds, repetition, and controlled absence. The project expands through parallel iterations that combine generative image and video systems, spatial sound composition, and choreographic structures tested through performative experiments.
